Where is House of Delphine located?

Our Studio & Salon are based on the Wild Atlantic Way, in the beautiful Tralee Bay, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

How do the appointments work?

At House of Delphine, we believe the process of choosing your gown should be fun & relaxed. We want you to enjoy trying on different styles & give you our personal attention to help you choose the gown that sets the desired tone for your wedding or event.

You will find a selection of size 10 samples. Since most of us are not an exact sample size, you may have to visualize how the dress will look once it is made to your size. Try not to dismiss a dress simply because the sample doesn’t fit properly! Remember to focus on style, fabric, color and details when making your choice.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring the type of Bra & shoes of the height you would like to wear for your évent, nude, seamless undergarments are the best.

Please note that the proper/ definitive bra will need to be brought to the first fitting & all follow up fittings. The actual shoes for your day will be required from the second fitting onwards. It is also highly recommended to come to your fittings without make-up.

Who should I bring with me to my appointment?

A maximum of 2 guests, is usually recommended. People who know you well, understand your vision and are eager to support you in your choices.

Is the dress I’m interested in always at the salon?

All of our designs can be seen in our Kerry Salon, unless they are out on a photo shoot.

Are photographs allowed in the salon?

To protect the design integrity, photographs will only be allowed after the gown is purchased. Once you have made your choice, you may happily snap away!

What is the price range of a House of Delphine gown?

House of Delphine bridal gowns start around 1850 Euros (for shorter designs) and go upwards of 4500 Euros. But on average, our most popular styles range between 2850 & 3850, averaging around 3500 Euros.

Special commissions depend totally upon requirement. But in general custom made, special occasion, silk dresses or mother of the bride/groom outfits range betwenn 1250 and 2500, averaging at around 1750/2000 Euros.

These prices are for a couture, made to size gown or oufit and there are no hidden added costs once we have agreed on design requirements, unless specifically pointed out at the time (if there is unusual sizing or a wish for last minute decision on décoration).

How long does it take to make my gown?

All of our gowns are made to order, we can often accomodate rush orders but generally it is safer to count between 4-6  months for completion. You are not buying “off the rack” and that is part of what makes a House of Delphine gown so special.

We work with the best silk and lace suppliers in Europe to create our original designs & the more labour intensive the materials & decorations are, the more time may be required.

Once you have made your decision and we have taken your measurements, you must count 2 fittings & delivery. This means we will meet usually 3 times from the time you order. Some simple designs might require 1 fitting less, some intricate ones may require 1more. The delivery time is usually 3 weeks prior to your event, unless you specify you wish for an extra early delivery time.

How and when do I pay for my gown?

For Bridal Gowns, a non-refundable minimum booking fee of 1000 Euros to 30% of total fee (whichever is the greatest) is required to place your order. And an additional 1000 Euros required on the 1st fitting. The balance is due when the dress is complete. Dresses will only be handed out when final payment has been completed. The same applies to cocktail gowns and special outfits, but the amounts are relative to each individual case. Given that our gowns are made to order, all sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or credits available. Thank you for your consideration.
